Delbert Robert Duckworth

Delbert Robert Duckworth, 68, passed away on January 5, 2021 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. 

Delbert was born on June 6, 1952 the son of the late Robert Glenn Duckworth and Alice Clapp Duckworth. He was a fixer at Anadeen Hosiery for over 20 years and an avid Ham Radio user with the call name KE4DYG where he would talk to people all over the world. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Sandra Moon Duckworth, a son James Duckworth and his twin brother Denzell Lee Duckworth. 

Surviving are his daughter Wendy Simpson (Bobby); three grandchildren, Audrey Simpson, Robert Daniel Simpson and Joseph Alexander Simpson and a brother James Andrew Duckworth as well as numerous other relatives and friends. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 pm on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Omega Funeral Service & Crematory Chapel with Rev. Stephen Hall officiating.
