David Wayne Janey

 David Wayne Janey, 46 of Burlington passed away Thursday November 7, 2019 at ARMC.

 
David was born in Alamance County on April 19, 1973 the son of the late Gerald Wayne Janey and Sheila Morris Janey. David was a graduate of Southern Alamance High School and then later received a Bachelors Degree in Theology from Appalachian Bible College. David was an extremely talented individual who knew the bible well and was instrumental in establishing the youth program at Bethel Baptist Church.  

Surviving in addition to his mother Sheila of Burlington is a son, Micah Janey; his daughter Hannah Janey; former wife and mother of his children, Kimberly Williams; two sisters, Connie Grizzle (Rickey) and Stacey Martin (Nicholas) as well as his nieces, nephews and numerous other family members and friends. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12 pm on Tuesday at Bethel Baptist Church with Revs. David Jackson and David Neff officiating. The family will receive friends and family at the conclusion of the service, and at other times at the residence 1819 A Fairview St. Burlington. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church, 238 Dixon Road Graham, NC 27253
