Connie Lois (Jones) Mashburn

Connie Jones Mashburn, 72 of Burlington passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023, at AuthoraCare Collective Hospice Home in Burlington.

Connie was born in Randolph County on August 15, 1950, a daughter of the late Joe Clinton Jones (Keeter) and Gelia Vena Holland Jones. Soon after birth, the family moved to Wilmington, NC where she lived most of her childhood and later the family moved to Alamance County.  Connie worked at Ametek-Lamb Electric in Graham for 20 years until her retirement due to disability.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Lawrence Jones, Wayne Jones, and Donna Norris.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Harry Hyatt Mashburn; two sons, Donald “Jason” Mashburn and Harry “Shawn” Mashburn and wife Ravenna who was more than just her daughter in law; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Also, her main companion of 16 years, her loving dog “Abby”.

A private celebration of life service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family gratefully asks that memorials be made to the Humane Society of Alamance County, 2213 Edgewood Ave, Burlington, NC 27215.
