Clifford "Bucky" Cagle, Jr. Obituary

Clifford Eugene Cagle Jr, age 48, passed away in Burlington on Apr. 7th, 2024.

Clifford grew up in a loving home in Liberty, where he enjoyed spending time with his family. He started his career in heating and air after receiving his certificate. Never venturing far from his family home in Liberty he began his own family in 1995. Clifford was a family man and made many strong and lasting friendships during his life. Clifford was the oldest of 3 children. Clifford enjoyed fishing, hunting, working outdoors, and living life like he had no fear.

Clifford’s first child, Brandon, was born, and 13 years later, he welcomed his youngest child, Christopher. His children were his entire world. His children gave him strength during the rough times and laughter and joy all of the time. Clifford’s artistic eye found beauty in everything around him and created beauty in his two children. He was so proud of his kids and, his family and friends will hold dear the memories we were privileged to make.

Clifford loved his family and would make a point to tell them that he loved and appreciated them as often as possible, sometimes with a hug but most frequently with a text and a nickname. Clifford is survived by his father, Clifford Cagle Sr. who raised him with unconditional faith, love and support; youngest brother David Cagle, Oldest son, Brandon Cagle, and youngest son, Christopher Cagle, whose memories, adventures, inside jokes and nicknames will hold special places in their hearts. His one nephew, Tyler Cagle, his niece, Madison Cagle, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. He had a knack for making friends easily and making all friends feel like his best friend.

Clifford was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Edward Cagle and Bernice (Langford) Cagle. Waiting for him at the Door to Heaven was his uncle, David Lloyd, his brother, Michael Cagle, and his mother Barbara (Lloyd) Cagle.
