Cindy Duggins Collins, 62, a lifelong resident of Alamance county lost a longstanding battle with cancer on November 10th, 2020 while surrounded by loved ones at a family home.
Cindy was born in Burlington, NC on February 22, 1958 to William Jackson Duggins and Patricia Wheeler Duggins. Cindy was a shining example of selflessness, love and compassion. Her aspirations in the hospitality industry were rivaled only by her unwavering ability to act as a positive loving role model for her family and friends. Her heart of gold and diamond smile will sorely be missed by all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with her.
Surviving are two sons; John William Collins wife Rachel, Jeremy Lee Collins wife Erica and one daughter; Tonya Marie Collins. She had 7 grandchildren: Jacob Eubanks, Cooper Collins, Adalyn Collins, Brooke Collins, Jessa Collins, Harper Collins and Jaxon Collins. She was predeceased by sisters Katherine McDonald and Rebecca Jordan. Living siblings are Matthew Lynn Duggins, Angela Brame Nye and Pamela Newman.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday November 14th at Burlington Assembly of God with Dr. Howard Thompson and Rev. Bryan Rainbow officiating.
