Carolyn Wagner

Carolyn Wagner, 83 of Elon passed away October 10, 2019 at Hospice & Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell. 

Carolyn was born in Alamance County on March 20, 1936 the daughter of the late Guy Isley and Mattie Madden Isley. She was employed at Belk in sales. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Lee Wagner, a son Michael Wagner, a daughter Cheryl Wagner, a grand daughter Heather Pickrell and a step daughter Brenda Willoughby. 

Surviving are  two daughters, Susan McCoy and Sherry Nelson; five grandchildren, Richard Ward (Kim), Bradley Nelson (Stephanie), Dustin Nelson (Reagan), Tyler Nelson (Roseanna) and Kristin Sockwell (Bryant); eight great grandchildren, Zoey and Finn Ward, Kevin Nelson, Taylor Nelson, Riley Nelson, Logan Nelson, Lucas Nelson and Abby Nelson and a step son James Wagner. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3 pm on Wednesday at Omega Funeral Service & Crematory Chapel with Pastor Ron Moore officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and then also receive friends following the service at the home of Richard and Kim Ward.
