Bobby "Lee" Cardwell, Jr.

Bobby "Lee" Cardwell, Jr., 59 of Burlington passed away peacefully on November 17, 2022 at AuthoraCare Collective Hospice Home. 

Lee was born in Alamance County on June 20, 1963 a son of the late Bobby Lee Cardwell, Sr and Margaret Holt Cardwell. Lee worked as a technician in injection molding and was an avid Tar Heels fan. He enjoyed fishing, the beach and his family. Lee was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother and friend. 

Surviving in addition to his mother Margaret are two daughters, Laura Leigh Capps and Ashley Nicole Cardwell; two grandchildren, Wesley Capps and Blake Salvato; a sister Wendy Payne (Tony); a brother Terry Lynn Cardwell and numerous other friends and family.  

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 pm on Monday, November 28, 2022 at Omega Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Scott Reavis officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm prior to the service and all other times at the home of Wendy and Tony Payne, 2805 Charley Lane, Burlington, NC 27215.
