Billy Keith Long, 71 of Elon passed away at home on Friday, September 23, 2022.

Billy was born in Guilford County on November 28, 1950 a son of the late Rainey Long and Mary Baldwin Long. He worked for Southern Webbing Mill, attended Central Baptist Church in Gibsonville and loved to work on cars, fish and had a great sense of humor.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Rainey Long, Jr.

Surviving is his wife of 42 years, Peggy Long; a son Chris Long; a grandson, Ryan Long; his brother, Jimmy Long (Terri) and a sister in law Gloria Long as well as other family and friends.

A Memorial Service is being planned for a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Omega Funeral Service & Crematory.
