Bertha "Mae" Sutton

Bertha "Mae" Sutton, 30 of Whitsett passed away on January 2, 2020 at Moses Cone Medical Center. 

Mae was born in Alamance County on June 15, 1989 the daughter of the late Roger Dale Haizlip and Angela Dawn Sutton. She was raised by her special aunt Jessie Louise Lowe and worked as a waitress in the restaurant industry. She was of Baptist faith. 

Surviving in addition to her mother Angela Dawn Sutton is her special aunt Jessie Louise Lowe; two children, Angel Nicole Reeves and Lilly Mae Easter; a sister Ashley Dawn Sutton and brother Roger Dale Haizlip, III and numerous other relatives and friends. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 pm on Friday at Omega Funeral Service & Crematory Chapel with Rev. Stephen Hall officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Sign an online register book at www.omegafsc.com.
