Aldric Brown Obituary

On Monday Nov. 2, 2020 Aldric Ramon Brown was called by the Father to complete his earthly journey and enter eternal rest in the arms of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Aldric was born on August 18, 1975 to the union of David L. Brown and Regina Durante Allen in Durham North Carolina. In 1998, he met the love of his life Christian Holman and that was the beginning of a steadfast union which  inevitably led to their marriage in 2006. He lovingly raised his son Marquel and stepdaughter Empress.
Aldric attended Orange County public schools and later excelled as a tradesman in welding after attending Alamance Community College. His work afforded him the opportunity to travel and live in many different places: Utah, Nevada, Washington, Wyoming, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Virginia, South Carolina, and Florida.

He loved his life and enjoyed his work and traveling.Throughout his life Aldric consistently sought the word of God in various faiths including the Church of Latter Day Saints which he joined while living in Utah. Aldric touched the lives of many as he was a very jovial and social person. His kind persona led to ever lasting relationships with family and friends alike.

To know him was a blessing. Aldric truly loved his family and worked hard to provide for them. He was a “master” at cooking who loved to cook and eat. He even created and perfected his own barbecue sauce. While residing in Utah he introduced the elders of the Church of Latter Day Saints to his pork barbecue. Whenever he recalled this story he would smile, remembering them licking their fingers.

Left to celebrate his life and legacy is his beloved wife Christian, his devoted parents Mr. David L. Brown and Regina Durante Allen, his brother Dwight Maurice Allen, children Marquel and Empress, Aunts Patricia Patterson and Priscilla Devane, In-laws Jennifer Allen, Elisa Holman, Christopher, DeEric Holman, Sherman Beasley and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Aldric is predeceased by maternal grandparents, Reese and Sarah Durante, paternal grandparents Celia and Laverne Brown and Uncles, Reese N. Durante II, and Melvin Lee Brown.
