Ada "Ruth" Barger Marley, 91 of The Oaks of Alamance passed away peacefully on November 11, 2021.
Ruth was born in Rowan County on March 9, 1923 a daughter of the late Henry Brown Barger and Cora Mae Hoyle Barger. She was employed in the textile industry and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert H. Cartner and Robert Marley.

Surviving are her son Robert Cartner and wife Judy; 2 step sons Fred Marley and Kenneth Marley; two sisters, Freda Basinger, Peggy Cruse; two grandchildren: Robert Shane Cartner and Rayanne Daniels and three great grandchildren.
