Shirley Ball, 79, passed away peacefully at Beacon Place Hospice Home in Greensboro. on Sunday June 11, 2017.

Shirley was born in Guilford County on August 25, 1937 the daughter of the late Thomas Avery Ramsey and Hattie Mae Godwin Ramsey. Shirley enjoyed the beach, coloring, drawing and baby sitting her grand kids. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Carlis Wray Bell and Winferd Ball. 

Surviving are five children, Ricky Bell, Stella Holt, Barbara Genopolos, Sandra Huffman and David Bell; 14 grand children and 28 great-grand children. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 pm on Sunday at First Wesleyan Church in Burlington. Sign an online register book at www.omegafsc.com
