Sallie Bean

Mrs. Sallie Bean, 92 of Graham  who lived a majority of her life in Greensboro and High Point, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Peak Resources. 
Sallie was born in Charlotte and raised in Davidson, North Carolina. She attended Salem College in Winston-Salem and resided most of her adult life in Greensboro. Sallie was formerly employed with Burlington Industries, Duke Power and had received her Real Estate License. She was also a house mother for Chi Omega Sorority in Chapel Hill for 8 years. She was an active volunteer for The Red Cross and Urban Ministries. 
Her life was full , but without any doubt her greatest joy came from her children and her love for the Lord. Sallie's happiest moments were when she was surrounded by her family. Though her journey was at times hard we are assured that she is at peace now and in the presence of Jesus. 
Surviving are her children, Michael Horton, wife Lucia, Diane Ellington, David Horton, Cliff Bean , wife Kimbal ; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
