Rick Leon Kirby, 65 of Snow Camp passed away on Tuesday December 11, 2018 at home.
Rick was born in Danville, Virginia on July 12, 1953 the son of the late Johnny Frederick Kirby and Evelyn Marie Rowsey Kirby. Rick was a supervisor at EFA, and had many different hobbies over the years. Just a few of his hobbies were making chainsaw art, making jewelry, reading and learning as much as he could. He loved learning about math and physics and was very intellectual. He also loved to study scripture and spend time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Loila Kirby. On May 5th, 1984 he married the former Tammy Rae Keys who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife Tammy are one daughter, Mekenzie Kirby; a son Zebulon Kirby; two step children, Jason Jones and Amber Jones; a brother Eric Kirby; four granddaughters, and numerous other family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7 pm on Friday, December 21st at Integrity Church with Pastor Budd Wrenn officiating.
