Richard Graham Cook

Richard Graham Cook, 71 of Burlington passed away, July 16, 2019 at UNC Healthcare Chapel Hill.

 Richard was born in Alamance County on January 13, 1948 the son of the late Jimmy Rayford Cook and Dewell Lee “Button” Brockwell Cook. Richard grew up in Burlington and was employed as Paint Contractor for many years.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Brenda Kay Coble. 

Surviving  are his daughter, Rebecca Cook; a son Ricky Cook; four grandchildren, Kaden Herbin, Hunter Franklin, Michael and Resee Slotnick; a brother Kenneth Cook (Betty); a sister Jerry Roberson; a special Aunt Becky Williams; and a special friend George Adams.  

 A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12 noon on Monday at Omega Funeral Service & Crematory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
