Patricia "Trish" Buckner, 67 of Burlington passed away on Thursday May 24, 2018 at her residence.
Trish was born on March 17, 1951 the daughter of the late Floyd and Hazel Parker Tapp and Lloyd and Betty Davidson. She was a graduate of Williams High School and lived in North Myrtle Beach, SC for 26 years where she was the bookkeeper for The Spanish Galleon and then for Key West Grill. Trish enjoyed Myrtle Beach, Key West Florida and Jimmy Buffet. The Parrothead in her was beautiful.
Surviving are one son Shannon Buckner of Burlington; a grandson Logan Buckner of Burlington; one brother Michael Matthews of Sylva; 2 step brothers, Clinton Tapp and Donald Tapp both of Burlington.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday at Omega Funeral Service & Crematory Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
