Neta Marie Overman

Neta "Marie" Overman, 64 of Burlington passed away Friday June 8, 2018. 

Marie was born on December 29, 1953 in Alamance County the daughter of the late Ralph Earl Harper and Peggy Ann Belk. She enjoyed drinking her coffee, playing her farm games and keeping up with everyone on her laptop. Marie was a kind woman and had a way of making everyone who came thru her door feel at home. Most of all she loved her family. In 1986, Marie met the love of her life Glen Overman and they were happily married for 32 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a step son, Jerry "Buddy" Overman, Jr.

 
Surviving in addition to her husband of 32 years are children, Adam Davis and wife Bobbie and Connie Duke; a step son Jason Willis Overman; two sisters, Cynthia "Cindy" Carter and Connie Andrews; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild and an adored nephew Michael Howerton 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 pm on Friday at Omega Funeral Service & Crematory Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
