Michael "Shane" Simpson, 42 of Graham passed away on Friday, June 21, 2019 at home. 

Shane was born in Guilford County on April 9, 1977 the son of Robert Earl Simpson and Pamela Smith Simpson. He worked as a foreman in the tree trimming industry and enjoyed fishing, the Carolina Panthers and UNC basketball  

Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife Tracy Simpson; three children, Taylor Corbett, Catherine Gutierrez and Kaley Long; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Bobby Simpson and wife Wendy and Phillip Simpson and wife Stephanie as well as several nieces and nephews. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3 pm on Friday June 28, 2019 at Omega Funeral Service & Crematory Chapel with Rev. Stephen Hall officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm prior to the service at the funeral home and all other times at the home of Pamela Simpson.
