Mary Ann Ranes, 83, of Burlington, NC, passed away at the Hospice House in Burlington on Sunday, January 7, 2018.   She was born on March 17, 1934, in Durham, NC to the late Louis Hardiman and Mary Hicks Hardiman.  

She is survived by her son, Robert Burch (Vicki)  of Villa Hills, KY; daughter, Lori Wisniowski (Mark) of Burlington, NC;  two grandchildren, Jeff Burch (Maranatha)  of Verona, KY, and Melissa Guha (Kishor)  of Lewisville, TX; great-grandson, London Guha.  She is also survived by two brothers, Ronnie Hardiman (Kathy) of Newport,  NC and Robert Hardiman (Chris) of Sandy Ridge, NC;  sister-in-law, Hilda Hardiman of Burlington, NC; brother-in-law Milton Ranes (Kay) of Glenda, AZ,   and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Landon Hardiman.  

Mary Ann retired from the accounting department at Research Triangle Institute in RTP.  A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 3401 Suits Road, Gibsonville, NC.
