Mary E. Cross Parks, 72 of Haw River, NC passed away Wednesday February 20  2019 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.

Mary was born in Mebane NC on November 15,1946 the daughter of Mattie Faye Cross.  She was employed with Byrd's food stores for many years. Mary loved her family dearly. She also loved NASCAR racing and the Carolina Tarheels.

Surviving are her sons, Thomas Tatum III of Haw River NC and Christopher Tatum of Mebane NC. Grandchildren include  Kristen Tatum Ingelheim and her husband Dustin of Burlington NC,  Lauren Tatum Clayton and her husband Darty of Mebane NC, Christopher Dyllan Tatum of Mebane NC, Madison Gayle Tatum of Mebane NC, Karley Alexis Tatum of Burlington NC.  Her sister Lois Talley and her Husband Bobby of Mebane NC.  Also missed by Rhonda Jarrett Tatum of Mebane NC and Cynthia Gayle Pittman of Graham NC, 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her mother, Mattie Faye Cross and her siblings Vickie Cross Davis Laughlin and Danny Cross.
