Lois Ann Grant, 78, of Burlington, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 20, 2018 following a brief illness.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert Ashby Grant; sons, Vincent (Vicky) O’Keefe, Robert Jr. (Dawn) Grant, Chuck (Jeanette) Grant; daughters, Grace (Joey) Buchholz, Kimberly Grant Rouse; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Barbara (Tom) Cain, Lena (late, Erich) Vogel and her constant companion Samson, her beloved dog. She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen DeWitt Croutcher and Robert Tayman; and two sons, James and Michael O’Keefe.

Mrs. Grant was retired from the School of Social Work in Chapel Hill, NC.  She was known as a devoted mother and wife and a woman of great faith.  She was blessed to be in the loving care of her daughter, Grace Buchholz, in her final days and our family is forever grateful for our sister's devotion to the care of both our Mother and our Father.

A Graveside celebration of her life will be held at 1pm on Wednesday at Pine Hill Cemetery in Burlington, NC. The family will receive friends from 10 am until 12 noon on Wednesday at Omega Funeral Service & Crematory Chapel. Sign an online register book at www.omegafsc.com.
