Karen Bergt Paul, 73, of Burlington, died February 26, 2018 at Alamance Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.
A native of Santa Monica, CA, Karen was the wife of Rev. Robert Ellis who survives and the daughter of the late Donald and Enne Kronquist Bergt.
Karen is survived by a daughter Melanie Laura Paul (Greg Borchardt) of Knightdale, NC and Jeremy Logan Paul (Barbara) of Burlington, NC; grandchildren Bethany Paul, Jacob Younis, Sommer Younis, and Cameron Borchardt.
A Service of Celebration will be held at 11 am on Saturday March 17, 2018 in the chapel at First Presbyterian Church in Burlington, NC.
