So sorry for your lose. May you find comfort from your fond memories. The Bible gives us comfort when it assures us that soon all causes of suffering will end and mankind can enjoy life forever in perfect health. (Pslams 37:11,29; Revelation 21:3,4; John 17:3)
We can even be reunited with our lost loved ones. (John 5:28,29)
Please accept my sincere heartfelt condolences.

Elaine , Kendal, & Lucas
I waited purposely to gather my thoughts as this has rocked our family as well as you guys. Jim was not only my brother but my best friend. I learned so much about life , religion, kindness to all of Gods creatures & man from him. To say he will be missed is an understatement but as he touched each of us in a special way we can honor him by more like he was. As I've talked to his old friends in every story was the description of kindness & loving which is what (our Father in heaven ) has asked of us!! He had a huge heart & loved Elaine & the children so much. We are here for you & the kids no matter what. I'm not saying goodbye but rather till we meet again.
Love you brother!!

Dear Elaine, Kendall & Lucus,
We have not seen you all for quite some time, but do recall the last time Jimmy attended the annual Family Picnic. Always fun to visit with him and of course eventually talk about “God stuff”.
Remembering too the fun family times as young children coming together
for holidays. Jim and my brother BUD shared similar qualities of caring, slow, coffee in hand folks who always had time to listen.
Know you three will miss Jim so much and wish you could reach out to touch him. But I’m sure you know you can talk to Jim any time in your thoughts.
Aunt Care and I send our sympathy, love and prayers for you.
Cousin Carole Anne

I send my deepest sympathy to each of you.
I was a neighbor of John and Lynn Rothbauer when they lived on Baird street. Our daughter Claire and their daughter Annie are best of friends.
John asked me to share this story from the time we lived on Baird Street. I believe Jim lived with them for a time. While he was living with John and Lynn, our children were young, "We have a daughter Ida who was being wrestled by the neighborhood boys in our front yard. I heard a commotion and went to the door to find Jim yanking those boys off Ida and loudly explaining that you NEVER EVER hit a girl, push a girl, or hurt a girl. He was very angry with these boys and I am sure was a tremendous influence that day. ".
I did not know Jim later in life but I am sure he lived a life of honor, as he set this example early on in his life.
Blessing to you all,
Beth Haasl

God strengthens us by giving us the "power beyond what is normal"" to make it through each passing day. Psalm 46:1 says: "God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress". Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you!
