Ian Jacob Davis, 18 of Burlington passed away on July 19, 2019 at home.
Ian was born in Pennsylvania on January 19, 2001 the son of Marc Anthony Davis and Angela Marie McSwain Davis. Ian was born a twin and was 27 weeks gestation, he was in the NICU for 41 days and fought for his life.
Ian was then diagnosed at a few months old with cerebral palsy and blind. Ian was diagnosed at 2 with epilepsy and has had a hard battle with siezures. Ian has always had a smile on his face that would make the worst days worth everything in the world and has worked so hard at everything he has done in life. Ian loved his Family,and dog dutches, and talked about riding in his Brothers trucks all the time and his Grandparents trucks too. He loved going to school and going on field trips to special Olympic games they had. Ian has gotten several medals from special Olympics. Ian enjoyed traveling to see PA and spending time with Family. He also loved going to his favorite amusement park while we were in PA. Ian also loved going on nature hikes as well. Ian also loved going out to eat when we did and going to the store, he loved being busy. We are greatly going to miss our Superman (Ian), but we know with all of his struggles in life that he is a much better place and flying with the Angles. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Jane Davis.
Surviving in addition to his parents are four brothers, Tyler Metzger, Cameron Metzger, Brett Davis and Brayden Moyer; a sister Shandel Metzger; maternal grandparents Ted and Sharon McSwain and paternal grandfather, Richard Davis.
