Glenn "Norman" Shelton, Jr., 59 of Cherry Grove passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 26, 2018. 

Norman was born in Guilford County on November 19, 1958 the son of the late Glenn Norman Shelton, Sr. and Flora Nelson Shelton. He was raised by his parents John G. Brown and the late Geraldine B. Brown. In addition to his birth parents and his mother he was proceeded in death by a brother Ronald Shelton. 

Surviving in addition to his father John G. Brown are one daughter, Sierra Shelton; his grandson Jaylen Wiley-Aldridge; brothers Bobby Shelton, Gary Dean Brown, Barry Brown and sisters Billie Jo Allen, Susan Church and Tina Chrismon. 

 
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6 pm on Tuesday April 3, 2018 at Omega Funeral Service & Crematory Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
