Glenda Grogan Thompson Frith, age 79, of Graham, North Carolina, passed away peacefully August 24, 2018, at the Hospice Home of Alamance. She was born November 21, 1938, in Rockingham County, North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil Herman Grogan and Elsie Hutchens Grogan. Glenda was also predeceased by her husband Dean Frith.

Glenda is survived by her son Allen Thompson; granddaughter Brittanie Thompson; brother Kenneth Grogan; sister Janice Wagoner (David); nephews, Butch Grogan, Chad Caldwell, Eddie Thompson and Tommy Hughes; nieces Debbie Harrison (Donnie), Kim Hickey (Pat), Mitzi Bullard, Kelly Rivers, and Paige Hughes (deceased).

Glenda retired from General Electric in Mebane, North Carolina.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be a private family service at Graham Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Glenda’s favorite charity, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105-3678.
