Burlington,
Frank Aucompaugh, 67 of Burlington, a US Army Vietnam Veteran, passed away on Friday November 17, 2017 at the VA Medical Center in Durham. 
Frank was born in Schoharie County, NY on March 31, 1950 the son of the late Franklin John Aucompaugh and the late Velna Byrne Aucompaugh. He was employed in the automotive industry as a parts manager and was a US ARMY Special Forces Vietnam Veteran. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Elaine Dott. 
Surviving are, one daughter, Brie Teer and husband Tyson; two sons, Frank Aucompaugh and David Aucompaugh; two grandchildren, Avery Teer and Audrey Teer; two sisters, Barbara Smith and Belinda Ryder and three brothers, Terry Aucompaugh, Leland Aucompaugh and Jeffry Aucompaugh. 
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday at Omega Funeral Service & Crematory Chapel. Military honors will follow the service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and all other times at the home of his daughter Brie Teer 5001 Teer Road Chapel Hill, NC 27516.
