July 22, 2017 Burlington, NC, Edward David Wolfe, 76, passed away at home with his family at his bedside after an extended illness.

Edward was born in Forsyth County on Februay 10, 1941, the son of Charlie and Mae Wolfe.  He was a longtime employee of Burlington Industries. Mr. Wolfe was also heavily involved in Youth sports, coaching basketball, little league baseball, football and soccer for many years.

Edward is survived by his wife, Linda Wolfe of Burlington, a son, Timothy Wolfe, Daughter Wendy Reid (Husband Daniel) and one grandson, Justin Chandler.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 am on Thursday at Omega Funeral Service & Crematory Chapel with Pastor Bill Skeens and Chaplain David Fox officiating. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park Cemetery.
