Dwayne Matthew Hooker, 72 of Gibsonville passed away on Friday December 1, 2017 at ARMC. 

Dwayne was born in Randolph County on February 9, 1945 the son of the late James Hooker and Ruth Owens Hooker. He was a self employed paint contractor. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Karen and Sarah Hall and a brother Tony Hooker. 

Surviving are his wife Phyllis Hanes of the home; two children, Teresa Hooker Hall and husband Buddy and Tina Hooker Garner and husband Paul; two brothers, Ronnie Hooker and Terry Hooker; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
