David "Doobie" Shane Wrenn

David Shane Wrenn “Doobie”, 49 of Burlington NC passed away June 26 2019 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.

Doobie was born in Burlington on August 19,1969. The son of James Wrenn Sr, and Linda Miles. He was employed as a carpet layer for many years with his father and brother. He enjoyed playing the guitar and reading. He loved disc golf and listening to classic rock.  He lived his life to the fullest and his biggest achievement was the impression on anyone's life that he met. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Mr & Mrs. Ollie Bordeaux and his paternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Harold Wrenn.   

Surviving are Mother and Step-father Linda and Wesley Miles of Burlington, Father James Holt Wrenn of Burllington. Brother and sister in-law Bobby and Elaine Stone of Monroe NC. Sister and Brother in-law Rhonda Moore and Ernest Moore. Nieces Heather Nicole Brammer of Burlington and Jamie Faucette of Burlington. Nephew James Thomas Wrenn of Wilmington NC  Great-Niece and Nephew James Warren Capps and Alana Ann Capps of Burlington. Preceded in Death by his Brother James Holt Wrenn Jr “Jay” of Burlington and Step-Mother Faye Wrenn of Burlington

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday at Maranatha Baptist Church, 603 Queen Ann St. Burlington, NC 27217 with Rev David McDaniel officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 until 1:30 prior to the service at the church. 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell. 904 Chapel Hill Road Burlington, NC 27215.
