David Bryan Cheek

David Bryan Cheek, 69 of Burlington passed away on June 3, 2019 at Peak Resources. 

David was born in Alamance County on September 18, 1949 the son of the late Howard Devoe Cheek and Frances Louise Scalf Cheek.

He was retired from NC DOT and  Elon University. David was a proud graduate of Graham High School, class of 1968. He had a vast knowledge and passion for antiques and collectibles. David enjoyed a good yard sale, auctions and selling “his finds”.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his niece, Jessica Cheek. 

Surviving are his wife Denise Payne Cheek; a daughter, Stacia Cheek; a brother Mickey Cheek and wife Tweet and a nephew Jason Cheek and wife Summer. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7 pm on Friday, June 14, 2019 at Omega Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Darrell Massey officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-7 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Sign an online register book at www.omegafsc.com.
