Curry Daniel Barnwell, 91 of Burlington passed away peacefully on February 4, 2018 at Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell.

Curry was born in Alamance County on May 21, 1926 the son of the late Thomas Yancey Barnwell and Andrew Frances Oakley Barnwell. He was a roofer for many years and was of Baptist faith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Julia Stout Barnwell, a grand daughter Lisa Ball and a brother Larry Barnwell.

Surviving are one son Harrell Barnwell (Bonnie) of Burlington; a daughter Elizabeth "Ann" Norton (Sam) of Graham; a brother Jimmy Barnwell (Betsy) of Dudley; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11 am on Friday at Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Sign an online register book at www.omegafsc.com. Arrangements are in the care of Omega Funeral Service & Crematory.
