Christopher "Chris" Dean Mize

Christopher Dean Mize, 57 of Liberty passed away on September 20, 2019 at Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell.

Chris was born in Alamance County on March 6, 1962 the son of the late Robert Mize and Shirley Moore Mize. He worked as a cook for most of his life and especially loved his wife, spending time with his family and drawing. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his youngest son Daniel Mize, brother Mark Mize and mother in law Tina Mills.
Surviving in addition to his mother Shirley Mize is his loving wife Wanda Mize; children, Tammy Elmore (David), Candice Ashe (Preston), Jason Mize (Kristin) and Josh Mize (Robyn); his grandchildren, Lillie, Calla, Katie, Abby, Cammie, Layla, Anabella, Natalie, Norah, Madelyn, Charlotte, Darren and Natalie; siblings, Mike Mize, Dianne Aldridge (Carl) and Darlene Barnes (Richard); sisters in law, Debbie Brooks (Steve), Gina Underwood (Doug), Lisa Crabill (Mike), Pam Mills (Allen) as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7 pm on Tuesday at Omega Funeral Service & Crematory Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6-7 pm prior to the service at the funeral home and all other times at the home, 8300 Wild Rose Drive, Lot 2 Liberty, NC. 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road Burlington, NC 27215.
