Allen Junious Fields, 75 of Burlington passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at his residence. 
Allen was born in Warren County on April 9, 1942 the son of the late Reather Fields. Allen was a member of Community Church of Christ and was employed as an auto mechanic most of his life. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. 
Surviving are his former wife Johnnie Mae Fields of Burlington; six children, Donald Ray Hicks and wife Nita of Louisburg, Yvonne Hart and husband Kym of Lillington, Emma Fields of Mebane, Allen Fields and wife Debra of Burlington, Ruth Fields of Burlington and Detra Prear and husband Chris of Haw River; 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
