Kelly Marie Pettit, 61 of Burlington formerly of Parkersburg, West Virginia passed away peacefully on March 23, 2024 at AuthoraCare Collective Hospice Home in Burlington.

Kelly was born in Washington County, Ohio on November 8, 1962, daughter of James and Marilyn Shilling Pettit. She grew up in Parkersburg and was a 1981 graduate of Parkersburg High School. Kelly worked in the family restaurant business, Davinci's, for all of her adult life.

Surviving in addition to her parents James and Marilyn Pettit is her two sisters, Lynn Dastugue and husband Kim Dastugue and Tracy Pottmeyer and husband Keith Pottmeyer; two nephews, Daniel Pottmeyer and James Pottmeyer; two great nieces, Arianna Pottmeyer and Lainya Pottmeyer; a great nephew Emiliano Pottmeyer and her beloved fur baby Pepperoni.

A Celebration of Kelly's life will be held at 5 pm on Sunday, April 7th at Davinci's Restaurant in Williamstown, West Virginia. In lieu of flowers the family gratefully asks that memorials be made to Residential Treatment Services of Alamance, 136 Hall Avenue Burlington, NC 27217.
