Annette Talbert, 54, of Hillsbrough, NC departed this life on April 10, 2024 at Hock Family Paviliion after a battle with colon cancer.

She was born in Durham NC Feb 18, 1970 to the late Michael and Elizabeth Nifong. She was a long time employee of Bullocks BBQ in Durham NC. Annette was a ray of sunshine who could make anyone laugh or feel better. She was a very caring person, she would give you the shirt off her back. She loved her family fiercely. Especially her 2 kids and her grandkids. She was the best mother and nana ever, her grandkids were her life.

Surviving are her daughter Brittney Talbert (Victor) of Hillsborough and son Jordan Talbert (Megan) of Durham. 3 grandchildren: Cayden, Aiden and Caroline. 2 brothers: Mike Nifong (Debbie) of Winston-Salem and Richard Nifong (Becky) of Hillsborough. 3 nieces: Chelsea Nifong, Gracie Nifong and Emily Merrill and a long list of people who loved her.

She is preceded in death by her late father and mother and her husband of over 30 years Donald Talbert

There will be a celebration of life on Sunday April 21st starting at 2pm-until at the Exchange Park in Hillsborough 331 Exchange Park Lane, Hillsborough, NC 27278. You may sign an online register book at www.omegafsc.com. Arrangements are in the care of Omega Funeral Service & Crematory.
