Willis Hillman Jones,age 84,passed Friday January 19,2018.A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:30 Sunday Jan 28th,at Lawndale Baptist Church.

He was born in Asheboro,NC.  The son of Clyde & Ida Mae Jones. Willis was a graduate of Walter Williams High School in Burlington and Elon college.He served his country in the U.S.Army during the Korean War. After the war Willis returned home to his wife of 64 years,Margaret Davis Jones.Margaret survives him along with his daughter Terri,son Danny,son Keith & wife Ann,son Mack & wife Sherri.His 6 grandchildren,Will,Zac,Leah,Kendra,Tara,Rachel.His great granddaughter Kinley.And his best friend Jack. Willis had a long career in sales in the office supply industry.Finally retiring from Piedmont office supply in 1999. In addition,he and his wife Margaret owned Jones custom drapery for 44 years. His deep faith in the Lord kept him active at Lawndale Baptist Church,where he was Deacon,Sunday school teacher,Choir member,Royal Ambassador director,and sports coach. Among his many enjoyments were racketball,golf,water sports,running, and spending time in his beautiful yard. Lastly, Willis really cherished the time he spent with his beautiful wife and friends in Florida every winter. 

In lieu of flowers,the family asks memorials be made to the Royal Ambassadors of Lawndale Baptist Church in honor of Willis Jones
