Hillsborough,
Thomas Hubert Bivins, 56 of Hillsborough passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017. 
Thomas was born in Durham County on June 28, 1961, the son of the late John Bivins and Mary King Bivins. He was a student at Orange High School and then worked as a carpenter his whole life. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Jean Bivins Smith and Linda Marie Bivins. 
Surviving is two daughters, Laura Brooke Bivins and Sarah Ann Bivins; two sisters, Amy England and Lori Jones; two brothers, David Bivins and Robert Bivins; a grandson Braxton Thomas Bivins as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. 
A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Monday, August 21, 2017, at Hillsborough Town Cemetery. Sign an online register book at www.omegafsc.com. Arrangements are in the care of Omega Funeral Service & Crematory.
