Theresa Love Sloan Hart, 82, of Graham, a resident of Springview Assisted Living, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at ARMC.

Theresa was born in Washington, D.C. on October 13, 1934, the daughter of the late Harold Thomas and Theresa Hackney Sloan. She was raised in Asheville NC and was a  lifelong resident of Greensboro NC. She attended Montreat College and graduated from Woman’s College of the University of North Carolina (now UNCG). She retired from Burlington Industries World Headquarters in Greensboro where she worked as an executive secretary. In addition to her parents Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Vernon Hart.

Survivors include three sons, Gregg Dickson of Burlington, Jeff Dickson of Greensboro and Blake Dickson (Luanne) of Greensboro. Six grandchildren, Slone Dickson, Lisa Dickson, Stephen Dickson, Ryan Dickson, Michael Dickson and Corey Freeland.

A private graveside service will be held on Thursday. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
