Elon,

Ronald "Ronnie" LeVan, 61 of Elon passed away on Monday August 1, 2016 at UNC Healthcare Chapel Hill. 

Ronnie was born in Guilford County on June 10, 1955 the son of the late Clyde and Virginia Moore LeVan. He was a weaver in the textile industry. 

Surviving are his wife Nellie Smith LeVan of the home; a sister, Becky Jarvis of Southport, NC; and three brothers, Steve and Johnnie Mack LeVan both of Winston Salem and Timmy LeVan of Madison. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5 PM on  Saturday at Pilgrim Chapel Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service. Sign an online register book at www.omegafsc.com.  Arrangements are in the care of Omega Funeral Service & Crematory.
