Ray Walthall Wilkinson, 84, of Mebane passed away peacefully on April 5, 2018 at the VA Medical Center in Durham.
Ray was born in Alamance County on June 5, 1933 the son of the late Theron and Ruth Walthall Wilkinson. He was a US Army Korean War Veteran. Ray loved his family and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his two brothers, TK Wilkinson, Jr and Vernon Wilkinson.
Surviving are two daughters, Donna Wilkinson Carver (Ricky) and Karen Wilkinson Cantrell (Kenneth) ; a son Mitchell Ray Wilkinson; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
A Private Graveside Service with military honors will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans. Sign an online register book at www.omegafsc.com. Arrangements are in the care of Omega Funeral Service & Crematory.
