Anna "Pauline" Harris Workman, 89 of Burington passed away peacefully on Monday August 22, 2016 at Brookdale of Burlington. 

Pauline was born in Stanley County on February 2, 1927 the daughter of Thomas and Trocie Morris Harris. She was a member of Harvest Hills Church of God. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Grady Workman, Jr. as well as two brothers, Dillon and Edward Harris. 

Surviving are a son, Paul Morton and wife Carole of Graham; a daughter Sheila Loy and husband Tommy of Graham; five step children, Grady Workman III, Steve Workman, Charles Workman, Glenda Workman and Sylvia Caulder all of Burlington; two grandchildren, Robert Morton and wife Ashley of New York, New York and Tonya Moore and husband Neil of Burlington; and two great grandchildren, Beverly Moore of Burlington and Chris Moore of Charlotte. 

A graveside service will be held at 10 am on Friday at Graham Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 CHapel Hill Road Burlington, NC 27215.
