Michael Todd Strickland Sr., 53, of Mebane passed away Friday September 16, 2016 at Danville Regional Medical Center with his family by his side.

Michael was born in Roxboro and raised in Graham and was the son of William and Donna Howard Strickland. He a graduate of Graham High School, Gupton Jones College of Funeral Service and was employed as a funeral director and embalmer with Cumby Funeral Home in High Point for over fifteen years. He was an avid UNC fan and in his spare time, he enjoyed golf and a good ball game! He was preceded in death by his mother Donna Strickland.

Surviving in addition to his father William of Graham are his son, Michael Strickland Jr. of High Point, daughter, Caroline Strickland of Trinity; a brother, David Strickland, of Graham; a sister, Christy Restrepo, and brother in-law Al (Papi) Restrepo of the home; and his nephew Brycen Restrepo of the home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7 pm on Monday in the chapel of Omega Funeral Service & Crematory with Pastor Randy Haynes officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
