God cares for those who have a broken heart; Psalm 34:18 assures us that he is close to them. Psalm 147:3 says: "He heals the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds". 1 Peter 5:7 says: "Throw all your anxiety (cares, worries) on him, because he cares for you".
