Lisa Dawn Wilson Oakley, 50 of Burlington passed away on Friday August 26, 2016 at her residence. Lisa was born in Orange County on January 9, 1966 the daughter of Melvin Wilson and Juanita Smith Dunston. She enjoyed being at the beach and loved life.  On June 8, 2010 she married David Oakley who survives her. 
Surviving in addition to her mother Juanita, step father Pee Wee Williams and husband David are three sons, Dustin Clapp and Austin Stanfield both of Burlington and Brycen Strickland of Mebane; a sister Diana Wilson of Burlington; a brother Jeff Wilson of Graham; and a special aunt Peggy Jones of Snow Camp. 
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6 pm on Wednesday in the chapel of Omega Funeral Service & Crematory. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
