Haw River,

Linda Faye Smith, 74 of Haw River passed away on Monday January 25, 2016 at Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance Caswell. 

Linda was born in Alamance County on March 28, 1941 the daughter of Clarence and Lucille Moody Wilkerson. She retired from Amtec, Inc in Graham and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Donald Ray Wilkerson. 

Surviving are her busband Marshall Smith; one daughter, Robin Parker of the home;  a son William B Childress Jr  and his Wife Tammy; eight grandchildren, Jason Carden, Kevin Cardern and wife Stacy, Joshua, Tisha, Samantha and Colt Childress,Krystyne Starling , Craig Seagrove; eight great-grandchildren, Shyann Carden, Shane, Jayce, Amanda and Jacob Carden, Cheyenne, Zachary and Erin Seagrove; a niece, Kathy Carey and a nephew Donald "Fugi" Wilkerson. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday February 6, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 pm prior to the service at the church.
