Kimberly "Starr" Thompson, 55 of Burlington passed away on Sunday July 23, 2017. 

Starr was born in Alamance County on November 25, 1961 the daughter of the late William Earl Thompson and Barbara Montgomery Lawrence. She was a member of Kinnett Memorial Baptist Church and was a loving daughter, mother and grandmother. 

Surviving in addition to her mother Barbara Lawrence are two sons, William Murray and RC Murray; a sister Dae Brady; three grandchildren, Logan Murray, Kathleen Murray and Olivia Murray; and a special friend Sandra Woods. 

A Celebration of her life is will be held at 3:30 pm on Saturday at Kinnett Memorial Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
