Mr. John Ross Drummond, of Christiansburg, VA, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2017 at the age of 65 from a short battle with liver cancer.

John was born in Hagerstown, Maryland, June 1952 the son of the late John F. “Jack” and Maxine Drummond. He was employed with Hercules (ATK) for almost 30 years. After moving back to Christiansburg, VA he owned The Inn at Hans Meadow where he enjoyed being an innkeeper and welcomed guests from all over. John loved the many friendships he made while working at Bucko’s Pantry and Super Dollar. 

Survived by son, John Ross Drummond, Jr. (Elsha) of Salt Lake City, Utah, William Thomas Drummond of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; grandchildren, Will, Lucy, Jack, and Drew;  sister, Nancy Gressmen (Bob) of Woodland, Utah.

At John’s request, no services will be held at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
