Joel Milton "Andy" Anderson, Jr.. 95 of Haw River passed away peacefully on January 22, 2018 at Hawfields Presbyterian Home. 
Joel was born in Flomaton, Alabama on August 21, 1922 the son of the late Joel Milton Anderson, Sr. and Mary Ellen Findley Anderson. He was employed with the US Postal service for many years before retiring and enjoyed fishing. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mary "Ruth" Sutley Anderson and a sister Mary Lou Anderson. 
Surviving are his daughter Ginger Murzda and husband Chris of Haw River; a son Danny Busey and wife Caroline of Tallahassee and Pace Florida; ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren, 
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday at Omega Funeral Service & Crematory Chapel. Interment will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
