Brown Summit,

Joel Lynn Purvis, 46 of Brown Summit passed away at home on Wednesday October 12, 2016. 

Joel was born in Alamance County on April 2, 1940 the son of Madge Purvis Younts. He was employed as a deliveryman in the appliance business for several years. 

Surviving in addition to this mother Madge of the home is one son, Conner John Purvis; a step-daughter Kayleigh Bitancor and husband Robert; three step-grandchildren, Carleigh, Lily and Sydney Bitancor. 

A graveside service is being planned and will be announced.
